Arthur Musinguzi

Arthur is a Communications assistant with GCIC under the Ministry of ICT & National Guidance. He also works with Uganda Media Centre.

He likes being called Arthur but his full name is Arthur Didan Musinguzi. The goal of the Government Citizen’s Interaction Centre (GCIC) is to facilitate Open Governance, provide platforms for policy engagement, amplify government’s messaging and translate it into citizen action. Arthur Musinguzi has therefore invested his vast experience, energy, skill and expertise to link Government, its ministries and agencies to citizens using new media such as Social Media and Websites, blogs and other digital media tools to make GCIC and Uganda Media Centre (the Government of Uganda’s Official Centre for Public Communications) achieve their set goals.

Arthur D. Musinguzi’s dream is for the Republic of Uganda to always have a Government that has a close, healthy and positive relationship with its citizens to facilitate political, social and economic development of the country.

Over the years has mastered the art of using these new media tools to strategically communicate with the citizens of Uganda both with online and offline. He’s a certified Digital Content Creator, Social Reporting and Social Media Buying. His trick remains in being simple, down to earth and humble as he uses digital platforms as he executes duties for the benefit of the Government of Uganda and its citizens.

The beauty of Uganda made Arthur fall in love with love with nature, domestic tourism and climate of the Pearl of Africa. Besides that he’s interested in ICT, social justice, health, energy, sports, international relations, and finance, transport and trade sectors.
